Paige turns 3!

As you see, this kid loves her dogs, babies, and dress up clothes! We all had a great time at Paige's 3rd birthday art pary. Can't wait to see what you're up to next year!

"This is me, this is me, this is me and my energy!"
lyrics from Laurie Berkener, our favorite musician who winds up my favorite kid.

Erin and Mark

Thought I'd share a few past wedding faves of Erin and Mark. These are from a wedding in San Diego's Camp Pendleton which turned out to be really fun! The engagement shoot at the Arboretum was a great way for us to get to know each other. Wedding season is once again upon us!

Happy Easter!

I think we're egg hunted-OUT with 4 egg hunts so far!
From the words of a 3 year old Maya: Spring is when baby tulips bloom and birds are born!
Have a Happy Easter season!

Arboretum Session with the Girls!

It was just us girls in what seemed to be an almost deserted Arcadia Arboretum! It was Christine and her two girls first visit, and they seemed to love all the spring flowers and peacocks strutting around! So I had to choose just a few favorites, which was incredibly hard cause they're all so darn photogenic and definitely have the posing thing down :) Enjoy....

Photo Collage

Here's a photo collage I put together of the family photo session I did a few weeks ago. It's my first attempt, so there's still a lot to learn, but I'm pretty happy with it!

Spring Portrait Sessions

Maya's Spring Break

What better way to spend Spring Break than out in the photo studio with your mama!
Maya couldn't wait to get dressed up in her new Easter outfit from Auntie Lori, if only for a few cherished moments until the photo session was complete. Never thought I'd have this much fun as a mom! Love ya, kid!

Vegas and Red Rock!

My business partner Shelley introduced me to Red Rock just outside of Las Vegas....incredible! She was raving about Valley of Fire, which is very similar to Red Rock, but on a smaller scale. It was perfect, as we were on our way to Lotus of Siam....THE best Thai food in the U.S. (no, really.....it's true!)
So after a day in Las Vegas at the WPPI Photography convention filling our minds with loads of vendor information and photography jargon, we were in need of some spicy Thai food & beer chased by the most tasty Thai dessert of ice cream, deep fried banana, mango, and rice. Oh, so good! Thanks, mamasita!
